Synopsis and Discussion

Air quality levels continue to be in the GREEN range as this low pressure system finally slides out to sea, albeit not very far offshore. Winds are out of the northeast and highs should peak around the 80 degree mark Thursday afternoon. Winds will continue to be out of the northeast for the next couple days as a high from the Great Lakes tries to slide into the region. Temperatures will increase into the low to mid 80s as the northeast wind persists. Despite the warmer air moving in from the northeast, AQI levels should hold in the upper GREEN range through Saturday before edging into the low YELLOW range Sunday afternoon. (Bodenhamer)
